Minor and major servicing of a Citroën HY

These days you can no longer go to the average Citroën dealer to have a Citroën HY serviced. And doing it yourself is not always straightforward, because it can be hard to gain access to some areas and also difficult to locate replacement parts.

In addition to servicing a Citroën 2CV, Mehari, Ami or other A-type, you are also very welcome to bring a Citroën HY to be serviced by us. The way a service works is similar to an A-type:

We check the following parts:

• Spark plugs
• Contact breaker/condenser
• Air filter
• Fuel filter
• Oil filter
• Level of the engine and gearbox oil
• …

Depending on the condition of these parts, the number of kilometres driven and the time since the previous service, these parts will be replaced. We can also check your Citroën HY for its technical inspection (MOT). When we do this, we put it on the brake testing unit, look at the adjustment of the lights and so on. If anything unexpected crops up here that is needed for the vehicle to pass its inspection, we will contact you and make a price quote for the work. That way you will never have any unpleasant surprises.
